"We Have Lost a Good Friend": Supporters Gather to Remember Willie Junior |

The rainbow of faces at an early Sunday evening candlelight vigil were a fitting tribute to the late Willie Junior, who many say had a heart for all regardless of race.
The badly decomposed body of Escambia County's first black commissioner was found Thursday in a crawl space under a home at the corner of East Strong Street and North 11th Avenue. That's where roughly 200 supporters gathered to pay tribute to him and to offer prayer for his family.
