VMI Cadets Dress as Nazis for School Party |

For the 2004 Virginia Military Institute Halloween party, cadets dressed as Nazis, fairies, KKK, the starving poor and guys with bullseyes on their asses. |

Photos posted on a public message board show VMI cadets dressed for their 2004 Halloween party as Nazis, fairies, a starving Ethiopian, the KKK and a man with a bullseye on his ass.
Similar pictures in the U.K. have recently caused an uproar. Will these in America? It's doubtful, but one should no less condemn VMI's ability to laugh at the deaths of millions, make light of famine and race and mock homosexuality. These are, after all, the men who are supposed to one day graduate to their own posts at Gitmos and Abu Ghraibs around the world.

My son dreamed and worked hard to be able to attend VMI but became a father the same day the ruling passed that no one could be a student if they were a parent. Sorry folks, he's more of a man (and a wonderful father) that these party goers will ever be. |

I want to thank this website for posting these photos after the Richmond IMC site went down because of heavy traffic. For a while, NWFIMC was the only place to see these images online. The Associate Press and other mainstream media were writing articles about the party, but none to my knowledge carried the photos. The power of the IMC network is truly amazing. "Be the Media," indeed. |

I thought the pictures were hilarious! What great halloween get-ups. The "Nazis"ere barely recognizable as such, the 2 fairies were really cute and the biy with the bullseye, well that was most creative. The boy in greasement as an ethiopean was certainly not starving - I just cant see why everybody got into such an uproar! All would have been welcome at my home on halloween and would probably won some prizes! |
