I should ask my wife, Teresa Heinz-Kerry to borrow some money so the price won't be so high. Since when did a nice ol' gala in the park cost $20? I could by 150 packs of Ramen Noodles with that kind of dough. |

If I had $20.00 to spend for a picnic, or even three friends with $5.00 to spare for a picnic, I would consider attending. In the meantime, Democrats should be freely educating the electorate, and a picnic in the park open to the public would be a great way of doing that. But this excessive cover charge of $20.00 will have the opposite effect, keeping many away, particularly the poor and so-called "working poor," of which I am a member. |

Or is the "for the people" schtick really a sham after all? I will now boycott, not only Haliburton and Texas, but also Heinz Ketchup, Vietnam, and Swift Boats as well. |
