Pensacola Patriots for Peace and the Pensacola chapter of Veterans for Peace will hold a silent, anti-war vigil on Presidents' Day, Feb. 21, from noon - 1:00 p.m. at the Martin Luther King Plaza in downtown Pensacola. By our participation, we make public our dissent while we honor the lives of those Americans who have lost their lives in Iraq. We will also remember the 100,000 Iraqi civilians who have died since the invasion, nearly two years ago. |
